Opening Day
Southbridge, LaSalle Reception Center at Notre Dame, 444 Main St., Southbridge from noon – 5 p.m.
The magic is back! Walk through a winter wonderland featuring more than 100 sparkling, uniquely decorated holiday trees and also view charming gingerbread houses. Take chances to win them. Children under 12 are free accompanied by an adult. Live entertainment. Admission is $2 today only. This is a fundraiser to fight breast cancer. For more information, go to www.sparklingtrees.com.
Choral Premiere
Southbridge, Notre Dame Church, Main Street, 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Many Southbridge church choirs will join together in a community event to celebrate the Christmas season. Under the direction of Brandon Vennink, St. Mary’s Music Director, the chorus will perform “A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols.” $5 admission includes entrance to the Festival of Giving Trees at the LaSalle Reception Center adjacent to the church following the concert. Senior Citizen’s Day
LaSalle Reception Center at Notre Dame, 444 Main St., Southbridge, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Walk through a winter wonderland featuring 100 sparkling holiday trees and charming, homemade, gingerbread houses. Seniors admitted free today. Special lunch menu for seniors provided by “Fins & Tales.” Also, free door prizes throughout day for seniors. Regular admission is $3 and children under 12 are free. Enjoy live entertainment.
Winter Starlight Gala
Community Center, 153 Chestnut St., Southbridge, 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Come celebrate the holidays! The annual Gala has a new home with seating for 300 - the Southbridge Community Center. Featuring a 20-piece band, hor d’oeuvres by Vienna Restaurant and food stations by Enrico Giovanello Catering. Saturday, Dec. 5
Children’s Day
LaSalle Reception Center at Notre Dame, 444 Main St., Southbridge, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Santa visits from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Pumpernickel Puppets perform from 1 - 2 p.m. Children under 12 are free. Regular admission is $3. Refreshments by “Fins & Tales” available for purchase. Enjoy live entertainment, face painting…etc.

Final Day
