Assault with door alleged
At 11:48 a.m., police received a walk-in report of a domestic dispute.
According to the report, a woman claimed her boyfriend, Derek J.
Jacques, 29, of 489 Main St. had assaulted her by forcing her head
into a door. Jacques was located at Cumberland Farms and arrested
for two counts of domestic assault and battery as well as assault
and battery with a deadly weapon.
After being released that night, Jacques allegedly returned to the
girlfriend’s apartment and broke in by cutting through a screen.
However, his victim was not there, having spent the night at a friend’s
house.
According to the report when she’d returned the next morning,
she’d discovered the break in and reported it to police. The
report also states that Jacques had admitted to a mutual friend
that he’d gone to the apartment.
While in court for arraignment the next day, Jacques learned of
the additional charges of breaking and entering for a misdemeanor
and violation of an abuse prevention order. (29044, 29125)

Dispute over smoking results in summons
At 1:26 a.m., police received a phone call report of disturbance
at 1738 House on Main Street.
Officer Pamela Desplaines and Sgt. Michael Cloutier responded to
the same location of a complaint earlier that night.
According to the report, a resident had called to complain about
a man smoking in the hall.
That resulted in a confrontation at a nearby Cumberland Farms in
which James Michael Hurley, 22, with a given address of 5 Prospect
St., Brookfield, allegedly yelled at the residents for calling the
police.
Hurley also reportedly threatened to kill the residents. Based on
corroborating information from witnesses inside the store, police
issued Hurley a summons for disorderly conduct and disturbing the
peace. (29232)
Drunken woman issued summons
Police received a 911 call reporting that an intoxicated female
had stumbled out of Admiral TJ O’Brien’s.
According to the report, an employee had confronted the woman and
offered to drive her home. However, after falling twice, she made
her way into the parking lot where police found her in the passenger
seat of her vehicle.
She was identified as Kimberly Danielle Cross, 23, of 88A Fiske
Hill Road.
Officer Hillary Dadalt detected a slur in Cross’s speech and
asked her how many drinks she’d had. Cross reportedly said
she’d had two drinks. However, as Officer Dadalt spoke with
her, Cross had to lean into the car for support.
Also, Cross did not wish to participate in a sobriety screening,
the report states. However, she did admit to driving to the bar,
which resulted in a summons for operating with a license suspended
for OUI.
Inside her car, an open bottle of vodka brought an additional summons
for possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
